Product inefficiencies are reflected exponentially in the operational complications.

Product inefficiencies are reflected exponentially in the operational complications (not to be confused with complexity) that the organization has to go through to deliver the service that the product is supposed to provide.

The goal of the organization is for the product to provide the service that solves the customer’s problems, and not to find ways to manage and live with the consequences, so to speak.

If the product generates operational complications, the goal should be to jointly identify these complications (consequences) and resolve them there, in the product, with customer centricity, and not in the function of the organization in which the consequences land. 🙃
